If there is any question of cross-border behaviour, or if you have another question you cannot/want to raise with the board, you can always contact a confidential contact person (VCP). At KUNST, we have two confidential contact persons, Wim Broekman and Monique Laenen. You can contact them by emailing: vcp@turnverenigingkunst.nl
We aim to create a safe and sociable climate for our members and trainers, in which everyone feels at home. Should this not be the case for any reason, it will be acted upon.
Transgressive behaviour, includes any behaviour where someone feels uncomfortable. Transgressive behaviour can include:
- (sexual) harassment
- Bullying and exclusion
- Aggression and violence
- Discrimination
Function of confidential contact person (VCP)
The VCP is mainly there as a reporting point, to provide information and guidance. In addition, the VCP will advise the board on how to deal with certain situations. The board will only be informed about contact with a VCP, after consultation between the person in need of help and contact person, or by legal obligation.
The conversation with a VCP is therefore always private and confidential.
If you have any doubts about getting in touch, do not hesitate. The VCP will advise you how to deal with the situation, what your options are, and what the consequences might be. The VCP cannot resolve the report himself.
Should any questions remain after this information, you may always contact the VCP or the board.
Centre for Safe Sport and Speak Up/Fier
If you cannot or do not want to contact our own VCP with your question, you can also contact the Centre Safe Sport of the NOC*NSF. This department also has two options for asking for help anonymously. This can be done through Speak Up and Fier. All possibilities to get in touch with the Centre for Safe Sport can be found here.
