About the board
The board of KUNST is working day and night to keep our association running. They direct committees, communicate with other associations and make sure practices and activities are going according to plan.
With pride we present ourselves as the 32nd board of the student gymnastics association KUNST!
In season 2026-2027, the board comprises the following people:

Hi lovely KUNSTenaars!
I’m Cato Kielstra, I’m 20 years old and I’m studying physiotherapy at HAN University of Applied Sciences. I’m also honoured to be serving as chair this year! Together with my fellow board member, we’ll keep KUNST up and running this year and, above all, I’m looking forward to lots of fun.
During training sessions, you’ll mostly find me on the uneven bars, as that’s definitely my favourite apparatus. I do try out other apparatus from time to time, but I also really enjoy yapping with our members!! So please do come and have a chat.
I’m really looking forward to a year full of KUNST, from training sessions to social events, and I hope to see you all at every event!

My name is Emke Broekaart and I am the secretary of the 32nd board. You’ll see me at training sessions, socials and events. I’ve been training recreationally since I was young at a small club in Zeeland. I’ve been a KUNSTenaar for three years now, and I’m delighted to be working with my fellow board members to organise everything behind the scenes. In my spare time, I enjoy reading books, such as fantasy, novels and thrillers. I’d definitely be up for a chat about your favourite book. I also love being outdoors by the water or in the woods. I enjoy playing various board games too, such as Beverbende, Boonanza or Everdell. So if you fancy playing a board game at the kletscafé (or elsewhere), I’m your girl! I hope to see you soon at training or at our activities! Best wishes!
Hi! My name is Siert Groote. I am 22 years old, and I am now in my last year of studying: computing science and artificial intelligence! Numbers take up a large portion of this, and (I suppose) I will see them a lot more in my upcoming year as treasurer! Apart from gymnastics, I love outdoor activities such as camping, but I also love making and listening to music. Who knows this will turn into action this year… if you like making music too, I’d love hearing about it! I look forward to being present everywhere in the upcoming year, and having a good time with all of you. Please feel free to say hi and come have a chat. Hopefully see you soon!

My name is Aranka Meershoek, I’m 20 years old, and I study Food & Business at HAN University of Applied Sciences. I’m from the amazing city of Breda, where I have been doing gymnastics since I was little. This year I am your competition commissioner, so you can come to me with any questions about gymnastics, training, competitions, and anything else you would like to know. Besides gymnastics, I also really enjoy trying out other sports, so feel free to ask me to join you if you want to try something new. I am really looking forward to this wonderful KUNST year to create many fun purple memories.

My name is Tamar Wijnker, I’m 20 years old and I’m studying Artificial Intelligence. This year I’ll be your PR Commissioner. So, don’t be surprised if I ask you to join a fun challenge or I encourage you to come to our monthly borrel (drinks). Since we’re gonna be at the borrel anyway, let’s chat about books, creative projects that seem impossible to finish and more. Furthermore, I’ll also be present at all other activities and of course every training. During trainings I try to do all apparatuses, however, I’ve gotten great at not doing vault..
